What we treat and how: pick a step
Positioning
You take off metal jewelry and removable dentures, and your head is held in place in the scanner so it stays still.
The sensor travels around your head in 10–20 seconds. A scan of both jaws delivers a dose of about 40–60 µSv.
The software builds a 1:1 three-dimensional model of the jaw that can be viewed in any plane and any slice.
Before implant placement, the dentist checks the height, width and density of the bone, as well as the position of the mandibular nerve and the maxillary sinuses.
A CT scan helps find extra, curved or calcified canals, as well as hidden inflammation, cysts and granulomas around the roots.
Head supports
Keep the head still during the scan.
Earrings
Metal jewelry comes off, otherwise it can leave artifacts on the image.
Necklace
Metal around the neck comes off too, as do removable dentures.
X-ray source
Emits a cone-shaped beam, which is where the name cone beam CT comes from.
Sensor
Captures the image from the opposite side of the head.
Rotation
The sensor travels around the head in 10–20 seconds.
3D model
Structures do not overlap the way they do on a flat X-ray.
Teeth and bone
Shows the teeth, roots and jawbone.
Slice
The model can be viewed layer by layer from any angle.
Bone height
The dentist measures it at the future implant site.
Bone width
Assessed together with bone density.
Mandibular nerve
The dentist sees where it runs and takes it into account in the plan.
Extra canal
A CT scan helps find extra, curved or calcified canals.
Inflammation at the root
A 3D image reveals hidden inflammation, cysts and granulomas.
A dental CT scan (CBCT) is a 3D image of the jaws, root canals and jaw joints taken on a cone beam CT scanner; the scan itself takes 10–20 seconds. It is done before implant placement, for complex root canal treatment and to find hidden inflammation; a 3D scan costs 1,200 UAH.

Before implant placement, to measure the bone volume. Also to find hidden inflammation, cysts and granulomas around the roots, for complex root canal treatment, and to check the position of wisdom teeth and other impacted teeth. A CT scan is also done for jaw joint or maxillary sinus problems and before orthodontic treatment.
A panoramic X-ray is flat, so it can show distortion and overlapping tissues. A CT scan gives a 1:1 3D model: bone and teeth can be viewed layer by layer from any angle.
A scan of both jaws on a cone beam CT scanner delivers about 40–60 µSv. That is tens of times less than a medical CT scan at a general diagnostic center.
No special preparation is needed. Before the scan, remove metal objects from your head and neck: earrings, necklaces, piercings, removable dentures. Otherwise they can leave artifacts on the image.
Yes. The scanner has a pediatric mode with a lower dose and a shorter scan time. The dentist orders a CT scan for a child for specific reasons: delayed tooth eruption, an injury, orthodontic problems.
Processing takes 3–5 minutes after the scan. You get the result as a digital file: it can be saved to a flash drive or sent by email.
Yes, a 3D scan (CT) is available as a stand-alone service, without a consultation.

They did my CT scan very quickly. Customer focus at the highest level: despite the unpredictable power outages, they called me and scheduled the appointment. I recommend them!
Quick, high-quality CT scan. The staff's explanations are polite and to the point, without small talk or fake smiles
I was at my first visit with Maryna Ihorivna, a very professional doctor. She showed me photos of my problem teeth, gave me clear advice and told me what needs to be worked on. They also did a CT scan, on which the doctor pointed everything out to me in more detail. Big thanks to the doctor's assistant too!
I'm very grateful to Eurozet for their speed. They booked me an appointment literally an hour after I contacted them. They did a CT scan, clearly explained the situation at that moment and made a further treatment plan. The staff are very friendly. Special thanks to the young woman at reception.

Before placing an implant, the surgeon needs to know how much bone there is at the future implant site. A 3D scan shows its height, width and density. It also clearly shows the mandibular nerve and the maxillary sinuses. The dentist takes their position into account when planning the surgery so as not to damage them. That is why a CT scan is a required step before implants, not an extra test done just in case.
A cone beam CT scanner is built specifically for the jaws and face. It renders hard tissues in fine detail: teeth, roots and bone. On a flat X-ray, structures overlap and small changes can go unnoticed. On a CT scan, the dentist examines every area in any plane and any slice. This reveals hidden inflammation, cysts and granulomas around the roots, as well as extra or curved canals.
The price is fixed and depends on the area scanned. If the dentist needs to see 2–3 teeth, a CT of a segment is enough — 650 UAH. For a wider area, a 3D scan (CT) is done for 1,200 UAH. There are no extra charges beyond the price list. When the scan is part of a comprehensive treatment, its cost is added to the overall estimate. The scan can also be covered under your health insurance policy.
CT scans are available at all three Eurozet locations. In Obolon — 21 Levka Lukianenka St, next to Minska metro station. In Pozniaky — 14B Kniazhyi Zaton St, near Osokorky metro station. In Pechersk — 12 Henerala Almazova St, near Pecherska metro station. Open every day, 9:00 to 21:00. You get the result as a file on a drive or by email. A CT scan that is part of treatment can be paid in installments through PrivatBank, and all prices are on the Prices page.
