Removable or fixed: which should I choose?
Fixed restorations (a bridge, an implant crown) are more convenient because you do not take them out daily, but they cost more. Removable dentures are more affordable and work well when more teeth are missing. The choice depends on your budget and the condition of the supporting teeth and bone.
How long does it take to get used to a removable denture?
Usually two weeks to a month. At first you may notice more saliva and a change in how you speak; this is a normal reaction that passes. During the first weeks the dentist makes a few follow-up adjustments.
What is better to support a bridge: my own teeth or implants?
If the neighboring teeth are already damaged and need crowns, a bridge on your own teeth is the logical choice. If the supporting teeth are healthy, it is better to consider implants as the support: that way the neighboring teeth stay untouched.
Can a denture be repaired if it cracks?
In most cases a crack or chip is fixed in the lab without making a new denture. Do not put off the repair: a damaged denture spreads the load unevenly and can harm the gums or supporting teeth.
Why does a denture need relining over time?
After teeth are lost, the jawbone gradually shrinks and the denture starts to fit less snugly. Relining restores the fit without making a new denture.

My husband and I take care of our teeth all the time. We were treated at a German dental practice, then a Turkish one, so we have something to compare with. We came to Eurozet with a difficult situation: after the Turkish doctors, the implants weren't taking, and they had to clean twice because small fragments were left after poorly cleaned sites from tooth extractions. They fixed it, cleaned it, the implants took, and only the final touch is left — the crowns. My husband damaged his upper teeth with an angle grinder, and doctors at three other practices didn't know what to do; here they did everything properly, and for half a year now he has been eating perfectly well. I also look after my oral hygiene and my teeth here. I'm satisfied. The office is clean, the staff are young and friendly.

Acrylic, nylon or clasp denture
An acrylic denture is the most affordable option, with a rigid base that is easy to adjust. A nylon denture is flexible, has no metal clasps and is almost invisible when you smile, but it holds its shape less well under load. A clasp denture has a metal framework, so the base is smaller and part of the chewing load goes to your own teeth. This slows down bone loss.
Why a denture needs relining
After teeth are lost, the jawbone gradually shrinks. A gap appears between the base of the denture and the gums. Relining adds a new layer of material to the inner surface of the base. It restores a snug fit and costs far less than a new denture.
