What we treat and how: pick a step
Cyst
A cyst is a growth at the tip of the root. It forms because of a chronic infection in the root canals and gradually destroys the bone.
The dentist assesses the size of the cyst and the condition of the bone on a 3D CT scan and chooses the method accordingly.
For a large cyst, the surgeon removes the cyst lining and the root tip under local anesthesia or sedation.
The cavity is filled with bone graft material and closed with sutures.
The bone in the area heals in 3 to 6 months, with follow-up X-rays to monitor it.
Cyst
May cause no symptoms for a long time.
Root canal
A chronic infection in the canal is what causes the cyst.
Bone
Left untreated, the cyst grows and destroys the jawbone.
3D scan (CT)
Shows the size of the cyst and the condition of the bone.
Cyst size
A small cyst is treated through the canals; a large one is removed surgically.
Cyst lining
The surgeon removes it together with its contents.
Root tip
Removed together with the cyst (root tip resection).
Your own tooth
The cyst is removed, not the tooth itself.
Bone graft
Fills the cavity where the cyst was.
Sutures
Placed by the surgeon at the end of the operation.
Healed bone
Heals over 3–6 months; the dentist monitors this with X-rays.
Your own tooth
The tooth stays with you.
A cystectomy is the surgical removal of a cyst at the root tip together with the root tip, and filling the cavity with bone graft material so that your own tooth can be saved. A small cyst is treated through the root canals.

Save the tooth

A small cyst is treated through the canals: they are cleaned, disinfected and filled with a medicated paste.
For a large cyst, the surgeon removes the cyst lining and the root tip and fills the cavity with bone graft material.
The price includes anesthesia, rubber dam isolation, microsurgical materials and sutures.
After the operation, mild swelling may last 2–4 days. The bone in the area heals in 3 to 6 months.
An exam by the surgeon and a 3D CT scan; an anesthesiologist consultation if needed.
Local anesthesia, or sedation for anxious patients.
The surgeon removes the cyst lining and the root tip.
The cavity is filled with bone graft material and closed with sutures.
Prices are per the price list. The dentist draws up a treatment plan with costs after an exam and diagnostics.
A small cyst is treated through the root canals: they are cleaned, disinfected and filled with a medicated paste. Large cysts call for a cystectomy, where the surgeon removes the cyst lining at the root tip.
In most cases, no. The treatment aims to save your own tooth: only the cyst is removed, or the root canals are treated.
The procedure is done under local anesthesia. For anxious patients, the surgical treatment can be done under sedation.
Mild swelling may last 2–4 days. The bone in the area heals in 3 to 6 months, which is monitored with X-rays.
The cyst grows and destroys the jawbone. This can lead to a jaw fracture, the cyst spreading into the maxillary sinus, loss of neighboring teeth and pus-forming infections.
The cause is an infection that spreads beyond the root canal because of decay, pulpitis or a poor-quality filling. Treat cavities in time, have a checkup every year and get follow-up X-rays of teeth with filled root canals.

I want to say a heartfelt thank you to Eurozet dentistry in Obolon, and especially to Dr. Viacheslav Vasylovych and his assistant Anastasiia. The tooth extraction went much easier than I expected. Dr. Viacheslav Vasylovych is a true professional: he explained everything clearly and did everything very carefully and confidently. What impressed me most was his manner — calm, attentive and caring throughout the procedure. Thanks to the doctor's professionalism, everything was painless and comfortable. Special thanks to Anastasiia for her help and the pleasant atmosphere. It's great when people truly love what they do. I recommend Dr. Viacheslav Vasylovych and Eurozet — quality, professionalism and a human touch at a high level!
Today, at almost 20:00, I urgently started looking for a dentist and luckily found Eurozet. They didn't turn me away, saw me right away, removed the tooth and put in stitches completely painlessly. The whole staff and the doctor are true professionals, gifted! I'm very grateful for the fast, high-quality and caring help. I recommend them to everyone! 🌟🦷
I really liked this dental office. A pleasant atmosphere and a friendly attitude. I was very worried about how my son (8 years old) would handle an upper lip frenulum procedure (recommended by more than one orthodontist). So we decided to go ahead and didn't regret our choice of place and doctor, Viacheslav Vasylovych. He explained how the procedure would go, found an approach to the child, calmed him down and did everything very quickly, professionally and precisely))) So I recommend this dental office to everyone! A child's teeth are the foundation of health, and the sooner you solve problems, the better.
I want to leave the warmest review of Eurozet dentistry and express huge gratitude to the oral surgeon Viacheslav Vasylovych. Going to a surgical appointment is always stressful, but from the very first minutes the doctor set a positive mood and completely took away all my worries. 😎Why I recommend this doctor and this dental office: A surgeon's golden hands: Viacheslav Vasylovych is an absolute professional. The procedure (which is usually scary) went incredibly quickly, precisely and, most importantly, completely painlessly. The doctor has a very light touch. Care for the patient: Before starting, the doctor explained everything in detail, answered all my questions, and afterwards gave clear, understandable recommendations on aftercare and recovery. Thanks to this, healing was quick and without any complications. Service and equipment: The office itself has a pleasant atmosphere, everything is sterile, and the equipment and materials are state-of-the-art. The reception staff are very friendly and polite.
Good afternoon! I want to thank the surgeon Viacheslav Vasylovych: a very attentive, calm and reliable doctor. The patient, my 80-year-old mom, came out after having 2 teeth removed feeling like she had wings. She said nobody had ever worked with her teeth so gently. I'd like to add: nothing unnecessary, quick, all X-rays taken on the spot (in the treatment room), and a detailed medical history taken before anesthesia. Given the extent of the extraction, I expected it to hurt in the evening, but no, the doctor has a light touch. I recommend him, and thank you!
We came to an appointment with Viacheslav Vasylovych with my 7-year-old son. He saw my son with an urgent problem (there was a fistula on the gum, pus was coming out, his cheek was swollen). The doctor first found an approach to the child, explained everything, and removed the little tooth. Everything went great, considering that my son used to be afraid of dentists. I'd also like to mention the dental assistant, who also did everything wonderfully. And special thanks to the administrator, who understood our problem and recommended the doctor❤️ Thank you so much!
My long and complicated treatment at this dental office has been successfully completed. Sincere thanks to oral surgeon Viacheslav Vasylovych for his professionalism, attentiveness and support)) Thank you to prosthodontist Maksym Oleksandrovych!
I had my wisdom teeth removed, all 4 at once under sedation, by Maksym Oleksandrovych. Everything went great, with a quick and fairly easy recovery. I recommend him 🙌🏻
A very good dental office. My appointment was with Dr. Vladyslav Yuriiovych; I had a complaint about a wisdom tooth. The doctor gave me advice and explained everything. Everything was done properly. Comfortable conditions and service. They gave me an anti-stress hand toy ❤️
I want to thank oral surgeon Maksym Oleksandrovych for his quality work. Yesterday I had a wisdom tooth removed, and Maksym Oleksandrovych did everything quickly, painlessly and well. Even after the anesthesia wore off, there was no swelling or pain. I'm very pleased with the visit! I recommend him!
I had 3 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Viacheslav Vasylovych. Professional work, and I recovered very quickly after the surgery. A sensitive, attentive and caring doctor. Thank you!
I really liked this dental office. Viacheslav Vasylovych is a good doctor who knows his job. (He removed a wisdom tooth that was already badly damaged.) He removed it so that I didn't even notice when it happened)) With doctors like this, I'll finally be able to overcome my fear of the dentist))
He removed 2 difficult wisdom teeth at once, the doctor did a very good job, I recommend him

A cyst may show up as discomfort or pain when you bite down on the tooth, and a feeling that the tooth has become “taller.” Sometimes the gum swells, or a fistula appears: a small opening in the gum that drains pus. During a flare-up, you may run a fever and the pain may get worse. If you notice anything like this, especially near a tooth with filled root canals, it is worth seeing a dentist and getting a 3D scan.
A cyst forms as the body's defense against a chronic infection in the root canals, and it can grow for a long time without symptoms. All that time, it is gradually destroying the bone around the root. That is why a cyst is often found by chance: on a CT scan during a routine checkup or before prosthetic work. A yearly checkup and follow-up X-rays of teeth with filled root canals help catch it while it is still small and can be treated through the canals.
The dentist chooses the method after a 3D CT scan: the size of the cyst and the condition of the tooth determine whether root canal treatment is enough or a cystectomy is needed. Per the price list, surgical cyst removal costs 7,500 UAH. The price already includes anesthesia, rubber dam isolation, microsurgical materials and sutures. You know the total before treatment begins, and it does not change during the course of treatment. Other prices are on the Prices page.
